Volunteer NowWe are 100% volunteer-run:
- We all have other responsibilities in life we need to prioritize. All meetings are on Zoom, optional and recorded when possible. If you can't make a meeting, we use tools like email or Slack to catch up. All of our roles are remote, and have no minimum time commitment.
- We will never tolerate disrespecting other volunteers for putting other responsibilities in life over VCNJ.
We are non-partisan:
- We all have different political views. It's important for Voter Choice NJ to have volunteers of all different political persuasions.
- Volunteers must feel comfortable collaborating with people who they disagree with about every other issue, besides ranked-choice voting.
- When you are acting on behalf of Voter Choice NJ, you must conduct yourself in a way that is clearly non-partisan. In particular: do not, on behalf of Voter Choice NJ, suggest how people should vote (including showing support for a candidate, ballot initiative, etc.).
- Volunteers must always treat other volunteers with respect. In particular, treating any volunteer differently because of their race, gender, religion, political views, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation and gender identity will never be tolerated.
