ALL VOTER CHOICE NJ VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW OUR STANDARDS OF CONDUCT:
- Not engage in criminal, dishonest, notoriously disgraceful, racially or sexually/gender biased discriminatory conduct, or any other conduct deemed to have a negative effect on VOTER CHOICE NJ and all its participants.
- Treat all members and volunteers and potential supporters in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Must protect the confidentiality of the identifying information of all members, volunteers, supporters and all those who contribute to the advancement of the organization’s mission.
- Not knowingly misrepresent the mission, goals and objectives of VOTER CHOICE NJ.
- Not solicit business from the public while engaged in VOTER CHOICE NJ activity or use the knowledge and information you gain about members, volunteers, supporters, or contributors for any direct or indirect personal benefit for yourself or any other specific individual.
- At all times, act in good faith when editing VOTER CHOICE NJ documents, sharing and distributing VOTER CHOICE NJ materials, and communicating with others about the organization.
The Communications Team is in charge of spreading our message through technology, media, design, and research. This team is run by Jack Cunningham, who will get in touch if you are interested in this team. This team meets on Wednesdays at 8PM.
Become a Fundraising Specialist
Help us craft a plan to more effectively raise funds through email, social media, and events.
Become a Website Administrator
Help maintain and update our website to ensure it’s accurate, user-friendly, and visually appealing. No existing skills in website development or database administration are required, just the willingness to learn!
Become a Social Media Manager
Manage our social media accounts, create engaging posts, and help grow our online presence to spread awareness about ranked-choice voting. Include in your email any social media platforms you are particularly familiar with.
Become a Graphics and Design Specialist
Create eye-catching graphics, infographics, and visual materials for social media, events, and educational campaigns. Familiarity with Canva is helpful but not required!
Become a Writer
Write blog posts, press releases, and other content to help explain ranked-choice voting and promote our work.
Become a Researcher
Gather data, statistics, and case studies to support our communications and advocacy efforts.
Become a Volunteer Organizer
Help us track volunteer hours for Voter Choice NJ volunteers, and help us streamline onboarding and retaining volunteers.
