This year at Jersey City Pride, Voter Choice NJ is bringing democracy to your sweet tooth. Stop by our booth on Newark Avenue and rank your favorite candies to see ranked-choice voting in action.

Ranked-choice voting lets you rank candidates in order of preference instead of picking just one. It's a simple idea with a big impact: more voices heard, more choices honored, and results that better reflect what a community actually wants. This year's Pride theme, Show Your True Colors — Now More Than Ever, is a call for every person to showcase their true and honest selves. We think that should extend to the ballot box; people should be free to vote how they truly feel, and that freedom is exactly what ranked-choice voting makes possible for every community in NJ.
