Become a Volunteer

Voter Choice NJ's work is driven by dedicated volunteers who do local organizing on the ground and coordinate our central teams. In the coming months, Voter Choice NJ will need hard workers like you to help us make a difference. From canvassing and signature-collecting to fundraising, there is no shortage of tasks to be done. We need people with a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets. Our state teams, below, are always looking for new volunteers!

Campaigns Team - Legislative Strategy, Local Ordinances, Endorsements, and Coalitions.

Education and Outreach Team - Events, Live Outreach, and Speakers Bureau.

Communications Team - Volunteer Onboarding, Technology, Data, Communications, Digital Graphics, and Research.

Will you volunteer?

I would like to advocate for RCV state enabling bills and trigger ordinances, obtain more petition signatures, build coalitions with key partner organizations. (1 Hour Per Week)

I would like to deliver educational presentations, host fun events and participate in face-to-face outreach. (1 Hour Per Week)

I would like to craft communications (including website, email, social media, etc.) that engage NJ residents about ranked-choice voting. (1 Hour Per Week)

I would like to talk to my local municipal representatives about getting ranked-choice voting in my town.
